Background
Stone clan is the fourth clan that was founded, whose totem god is Rethain Luse. They draw their power from the earth, and mages of this type typically spend their time studying the physical side of magic over the studies of willpower and summoning.

Magic and Elemental Affinity
Magic use in Stone clan mages is often reserved strictly to extert their will upon stone and physical objects to move them, and very rarely relies on summoning or pure magic based attacks. As such, Earth mages are often known to be incredibly physically fit, and will typically carry daggers on their person when they fight demons. A few mages are also capable of bending time, although this ability is limited to a small space and a singular object, such as a piece of paper or broken vase. There are old stories of well-trained Stone mages cursing their enemies to live in the past or future forever, but these stories are long-past and many mages feel that this ability has faded as the world's magic has spread out.

Ties to Other Clans
No one is quite sure about the great Drake's ties to other gods, as the few stories from the old world tell tale that he was sealed away for ages, until the world was destroyed. However, most Earth clan members today have no patience for the Dark clan; as they feel their distrust of order and the past is foolish, and their additional use of only etherial magic is distasteful.

Morals
Earth clan members also hold over the additional ruling power of Logic, and have a strong preference to solving problems using past experience and expertise over new and unusual ideas. This means that they tend to hold on to old laws and traditions in favor of changing them or removing them completely, as they believe that the strongest test for how well something works is time itself. This can lead to conflict with the more eclectic clans who go with the flow of things, and it is a rare occurrence to see mages of these clans with Stone mages.

Past Battles
It is a known fact within the Earth clan that in the old world, Rethain Luse was sealed away and his power greatly drained by a great beast known as the Longan. This creature was like the ones we currently have, only the only of its kind and exccedingly strong. The great Drake eventually slain the beast before falling into his rest, and today many Stone mages are split on keeping Longans as companions; some see them as a testament to Rethain's strength while others see them as a reminder of the past.

Stance on the Edgelands
Although it provides a constant threat to the Veil, most Stone mages see it as a neccessary evil that has existed before the world and less as an over consuming villian and more a part of nature.
