The Water Clan

Background
Water clan is the sixth clan that was founded, whose totem god is Auguan Ludiculous. Water clan mages are much like Leaf clan members in that they tend to focus on giving back to the community, however water clan members rarely use their magic to help others, instead perferring to give physical goods and guidance to others over one-time magical solutions. As such, Water clan mages are known as the kind of people that you go to when you need to make a decision or somewhere to stay. Even though Water mages tend to focus more on physical goods when giving, they also extensively use bth physical and non-physical magic. Water mages typically use more non-magical spels; traditionally Water mages learn spells that grant intuition, clarity, and allow for them to focus more on a task. They also specialize in basic Water manipulation, where they can control large amounts of water with their will. Some of the strongest water mages were able redirect entire rivers and flood towns, but with the thinning of magic these mages are luckily scarce.

Magic and Elemental Affinity
Water mages are best known for some of their more creative spells; the ones that allow for self-focus, inner reflection, and clarity have also been found to be useful for outward applications. One of the most well-known applications is now known as the Seeing Eye, where the user is able to obtain a somewhat fuzzy mental image of any place at its current time if they are able to remember a few key details of the location. This spell was co-opted by Dark clan mages and eventually turned into one of their tools of war, should they happen to have a mage that has been in the location they need information from.

Ties to Other Clans
Water clan mages typically form great friendships with Leaf clan mages, and have a strong alliance with the Wind clan. This is due to the the nature of Cellon and Auguan- it is said that both great deities have a strong relationship and utilize their powers together to the fullest extent in order to control the weather and bring water to the world so that life may flourish.

Morals
Water clan members typically form judgement by meditation and relying on trying to symphasize with the accused before ultimately deciding punishment. This is not to say that they are lenient, however; many Water clan mages align themselves with the teachings of the Light clan when it comes to the application of the rules, but take time before judgement to reflect on what lead to this issue and how to prevent it in the future.

Demi-Magics
Water has a well known Demi-Magic with Wind to form all forms of weather, the most notable skill being lightning. Children of water and wind mages may have an inclination towards lightning magics.

Stance on the Edgelands
Water clan members feel that the obscuring power of the Edgelands is incredibly frustrating; however many Water mages would be fine with the Edgelands if they did not corrupt and hide.
