The Shen Long

General Information

Shen Longs are revered as being masters of the weather, and often it is not unusual to see one twisting in and out of a storm cloud brewing. Due to this, they were often revered and given gifts to earn their favor in earlier ages, in hopes that they would bring rain and favorable weather for crops and pastures. They are still used to regulate farmland weather due to their powerful magic, and often it is not uncommon to see a mage using their shen long to water their garden and tend to the plants. Shen longs are also valued for their ability to produce electricity on command, and often hunters will have one so that they are able to stun their quarry before killing it. They, though, are not able to get along with static dragons due to their charges being different, although both dragons favor each other and sometimes attempt to mingle, which often results in massive bolts of lightning being shot into the air.

This hatchling is quite calm, though it often ventures out during thunderstorms. It seems to enjoy messing with lightning.

Teen Information

The hatchling has grown now and large poofs of what appear to be clouds are all along its back. It also seems to avoid your static dragons now, if they get near often large bolts of lightning will shoot from its back.

Adult Information

Your hatchling has finally reached adulthood, and is quite the beast to behold. Large poofs of thunderclouds surround its back at all times, and often massive bolts of lightning will shoot from its back in defense. It often will avoid your static dragons due to the lightning of both having an adverse effect on the other, although sometimes it will try to make friends with them. It seems to enjoy thunderstorms and any sort of precipitation, and often you can view it creating a cloud or two with its magic. Sometimes you use it to water your plants and take care of your garden, and it seems to happily oblige.
