The Blackout Firework Drake

General Information

Firework drakes are often seen around the beginning of a new phase. This is due to the fact that they only breed in the middle of the twelth year, and will protect their eggs for around two seasons before leaving to go to their migratory grounds. Often their eggs were stolen by merchants who believed that these eggs were able to bring good luck into the new phase, but this practice has been banned and comes with a strict punishment now. These drakes, though, do have a very bright plumage that is very valuable to headresses and costumes in celebrations around this time, due to the fact that the feathers can change color based upon the mood of the wearer. Often, mages will raise large amounts of these creatures to sell their feathers to earn a nice sum of stones.

It has grown some more, and its feathers are quite big and colorful now. It also seems to shoot out the pops more often.

Adult Information

Your hatchling has finally reached adulthood, and it has a large crest of bright and beautiful feathers all along its back. The feathers color order from base to tip often seem to dictate the order of the next few pops of color that your dragon will release, and often the color of the feathers will switch around after a cycle has been completed. You sometimes see your dragon wander out at night, and you can view its colorful pops light up the sky. The pops are unlike other flames of dragons, these start out small for a long distance until they get up high in the sky, and then they explode into a vibrant burst of color. Often your other dragons will sit around and watch it shoot its flame.
