General Information
Although they are much more cervid in build, a Kirin's scaled hide betrays its draconic heritage. Kirin are swift and light on their feet, rarely leaving behind tracks. One of the more curious aspects of these creatures is that they have a single horn instead of two; old beliefs say these horns ground into tea will give a person good luck, although in the wild they are used for defense and dominance displays. Kirins will eat meat, although rarely, preferring to dine on leaves and grasses. They make their homes in small herds in forests and retreat to the deepest parts in the depths of winter. They reemerge in spring to breed and are highly attentive parents. Many never realize it when they spot a young kirin, as their plain brown coats blend perfectly into the dirt and trees.

This egg matches the soil around it.
Baby Information

This small hatchling resembles a deer, although deer don't hatch from eggs. It's a little lighter in color than its egg and wobbly on its legs.
Teen Information

This hatchling has grown larger and has become much more surefooted. It's also grown a single horn from its forehead and spikes along its back, and its skin is taking on a rough texture.
Adult Information

This adult is strange, bearing both the appearance of a drake and a deer. It has a somewhat temperamental attitude, and does not like to be followed around by you. It is incredibly fast and can outrun most of your any other creatures, and can hold its own in fights against your other creatures. It is mostly non-confrontational though, unless forced to face its situation. It prefers to eat fruit and vegetables, though you have seen it eat meat on occasion, and has attempted to catch fish before.
