General Information
Sprite midges are said to each embody an elemental power, and often a mage will collect the respective sprite that their magic mirrors. Sprite midges are creative and will often find unique ways to use their magic, so mages who keep these dragons are often at an advantage from studying and observing the strange solutions these tiny creatures find. A mage without a sprite midge is often either a master or a beginner, as many teachers will even require a sprite midge for class.
While there are eight clans, there are (unless Aszerath is hiding something) only seven types of elemental sprite midges. Dark Clan members will, if they take on a sprite midge at all, either adopt one from their previous clan or try to get by with a firesprite, which at least looks vaguely dark-oriented.

This blue egg is quite small compared to the others.
Sprite midge eggs are quite sturdy, though their small size would suggest otherwise. While they benefit from a well-cushioned nest, they will not shatter if scowled at.
Baby Information

This tiny, blue hatchling loves to play with water. It can often move and control puddles to evaporate, and is able to conjure a cloud to make rain if it wants.
Young watersprites will make a beeline for any unattended drink. Given their tendency to sample drinks before playing with them, one is advised to stick to water or brew a decoy cup of tea for the hatchling to enjoy. While their powers work best with water, any liquid will do. Some hatchlings even develop a fondness for soup.
Teen Information

This tiny, blue hatchling loves to play with water. It can often move and control puddles to evaporate, and is able to conjure a cloud to make rain if it wants. It is now able to move the cloud around and its ability to control water allows for it to turn small puddles into clouds. It loves using this cloud to douse your other hatchlings, but it is not violent with it.
Though watersprite hatchlings don't mean to cause harm, they should still be kept well away from firesprites, witherskins, and other fire-based creatures. Otherwise, someone will be hurt. Watersprite hatchlings are cheerful, playful creatures with a knack for making friends, especially with rots, who appreciate their ability to create water.
Adult Information

Your hatchling has grown now, and the water cloud that it conjures is quite useful for when you need to take care of your garden. You have noticed that the dragon is willing to go out and water other gardens when you do not need it, and it easily complies with any request for a drink. When you notice that it has run out of water, other sprites will lend it some of theirs. It is not fond of using its water to defend itself, and tends to stay away from your more agressive dragons because of this.
Watersprites are enthusiastic about watering gardens, but aren't always good about knowing when to stop. Care should be taken before asking them to water anything easily waterlogged. For the same reason, they should be kept away from windheights. On hot days, watersprites come into their own, spraying overheated creatures with water and teaming up to form shallow swimming pools.
