The Diomandra

General Information

Diomandra are strange creatures when it comes to bodily functions. Unlike any other animal, they have no need for their digestive system, and instead absorb all of their nutrients from the large fins that sprout from their back. Even so, hatchlings are born without these fins, and must survive until puberty on small bugs, grass, and whatever else they may easily scavenge without expending too much power. Many mages have attempted to mimic the abilities these drakes have in an attempt to harness eternal energy, though it is said only Felix himself can grant such powers.

Baby Information

This strange hatchling is very unusual. Much smaller than any other creatures, it seems to be that of a dragon, although it bears no scales, and has a somewhat slimy skin. It tens to hide under rocks and cracks, and will even mistake hiding under your bed as a safe burrow.

It tens to hide under rocks and cracks, and will even mistake hiding under your bed as a safe burrow. It has grown a large sail upon its back, and is now not able to hide in the places it used to. It still tries though, and makes a hilarious entertainment out of itself often.

Adult Information

Your hatchling has grown now, and is just big enough to comfortably ride on your shoulders without issue, and you often will use it to your advantage in the summer to protect yourself from the sun but also allow for it to absorb energy. It is very laid back and mild, and seems to prefer only relaxing in the sun and sleeping, which is perfectly fine to you as you have to deal with so many other mischievous creatures.
