General Information
Recently the discovered remains of extinct monsters once slain by the Seven were found deep within the West-North caves, and over time, with the influence of the darkness and crystals around them, they were reanimated. Certain gems embedded themselves into the bodies and resurrected these dangerous beasts, their life source eternally contained in the minerals they bonded with. These creatures are now being discovered in different parts of the lands, with each specific mineral affecting their power, location, and ferocity.

Baby Information

A small hatchling pushes itself out of the egg. It seems fairly normal, despite a row of large, spiked, gems are forming on its back. It appears to love hoarding the purple gems it sheds.
Teen Information

A small hatchling pushes itself out of the egg. It seems fairly normal, despite a row of large, spiked, gems are forming on its back. It appears to love hoarding the purple gems it sheds. It has grown larger now, and the gems on its spine form a large frill of crystalline delight. It also furiously guards its shed gems from anything that attempts to steal them for their own hoard.
Adult Information

With massive fore claws and a magnificent sail a long its back, Sugilite gembeasts are the most impressive out of all of these beasts. Found near the coastal swamps, they normally hunt for food within the waters of the ocean, and occasionally, the large lake. They are a passive breed, thankfully, and will only attack a mage if provoked into defending themselves. Sugilite Gembeasts are rarely witnessed hunting anything but fish, but have been known to scavenge off of kills of larger dragons, and have even been seen stealing kills from other predators.
