General Information
Recently the discovered remains of extinct monsters once slain by the Seven were found deep within the West-North caves, and over time, with the influence of the darkness and crystals around them, they were reanimated. Certain gems embedded themselves into the bodies and resurrected these dangerous beasts, their life source eternally contained in the minerals they bonded with. These creatures are now being discovered in different parts of the lands, with each specific mineral affecting their power, location, and ferocity.

These beasts are known to the the more interesting type of gem beast, as they are incredibly docile- and herbivores. Though they are not water dwellers, Pearl Gembeasts are commonly found wandering the sides near oceans, grazing on the plants and seaweeds residing in the area. They are very timid and skittish, yet so peaceful so they pose no threat at all. It is rumored that Pearl Gembeasts are the only breed of gem beasts that can easily be distinguished between the males and females by their head crests.
