General Information
Rust dragons are a much more common variant of iron dragons, formed when an egg is left above ground instead of buried. At first glance they look like rocks in the mountain side, and this accidental defense has lead to them being much more common than iron dragons. They are in need of constant care, in the wild they have to find a tree to try and sharpen their claws to allow them to dig, and this constant need to go outside of their lair leads to their back spines and wings to become worn and rusted. They are weak against many things in this state, and often once buried they will remain underground for years in a dormant sleep, allowing their bodies to reform and heal their armor.
