General Information
Degris Mantis are one of the few anems that have some use, besides companionship. These anems are skilled at lock picking if trained right, and will willingly use their scythe-like forearms to pry open the inner workings of the lock. Thankfully, or for some, unthankfully, the art of teaching these anems how to properly enter and unlock a lock has been lost to time. Some reports, though, in the northern reaches claim that these bugs are still used for such a purpose by bandit groups, though the groups are just as rare as the reports.

Baby Information

This small hatchling is very agile, despite just hatching. It seems to be fond of standing still and hunting for prey, be it small bugs or bread you throw at it. It is also willing to strike out at any hatchlings who try to bother it.
Teen Information

This small hatchling is very agile, despite just hatching. It seems to be fond of standing still and hunting for prey, be it small bugs or bread you throw at it. It is also willing to strike out at any hatchlings who try to bother it. It has grown some now- and grown a pair of wings. It frequently uses them to reach high up perches, or hide in the trees. You have somewhat earned its trust, and now it is not so fond of striking at anything that moves. You have only five cuts a week, instead of the seventeen before.
Adult Information

Your hatchling has grown now, and finally, stopped attacking everything that moves. It now only attacks small bugs, and thankfully you have a lack of those as companions. It seems to be very intelligent, though you\'re not sure how to harness this for use in your journeys. It has begun to understand basic concepts such as where you keep the food, or which dragons don\'t mind it riding along with them.
