The Flame Cinder Steed

General Information

Cinder steeds are mysterious creatures that are both seemingly members of the undead and infused with the fire element. Their existence is still a debatable topic - some people who live in the volcanic regions claim to have seen aflame skeletons running in the distance, making beastly and terrifying noises, however others have said that these are just aflamed singularities that were mistaken for steeds because of the distance and fumes in the air, which can distort both mind and vision. Recently, the castle has procured some specimens of these beasts, proving their ghastly existence. The true origin of these creatures is unknown, but it seems that the aggression typical to both undead and fiery creatures has been combined in them, making them truly ferocious and intimidating to any wanderer not prepared to handle them. Perhaps these creatures are simply made of pure fire and merely use ancient steed bones as an exoskeleton to convey their power to us, but we will never know for sure. Personally, have no idea how these creatures can possibly breed, however you heard rumors that these creatures sometimes form couples and each parent divides a small part of themselves, mixing them into one and burying those in the ash. It still does not explain how they have come to form eggs with regular steeds like unicorns in captivity, but you are sure some magic is involved.

Egg Information

This is an odd stone seeming made out of compressed cinder and embers. It is slightly warm and glows faintly. You wonder if this is an egg at all.

Baby Information

The tiny skeleton that emerged from the fiery fossil could be almost called cute if it wasn't trying to bash any of your non-fiery creatures that it could see and if it was not a member of the undead. It resembles more of a red dragon than any steed.

Teen Information

The tiny skeleton that emerged from the fiery fossil could be almost called cute if it wasn't trying to bash any of your non-fiery creatures that it could see and if it was not set aflame. It resembles more of a red dragon than any steed.The creature has grown some, but its attitude didn't change... much. It has become even more feisty, however it does not attack you, provided you keep a wide distance. You just hope it will not burn down your entire hold.

Adult Information

Your hatchling has grown now, and it resembles a steed much more than it used to. Its copper-colored bones and fiery mane is a sight to behold, but it is still not willing to approach any creatures that do not belong to its kind. Once it reached adulthood, it seemed to stop treating you with mistrust, however you do not think it is a good idea to try to saddle it. At least because its mane surely will set you on fire, not counting that it will most likely kick you off.
