Western Volcanic Ridge
General Information
Eastern Phoenixes are the more gaudy of the two base species, adorned with long, trailing feathers that glimmer in the sunlight, and seem to sparkle even in the darkness. The beauty of these birds should not fool you, though, as they are more than capable of setting an entire forest aflame with so much as a word. Thankfully, these birds are incredibly docile, and elusive, only nesting in the volcanoes, and very rarely seen as adults in the wild. To many, it is considered an omen of great luck and prosperity if one of these majestic animals is spotted flying over your house.

Baby Information
This tiny, nearly featherless hatchling looks like it should be helpless, but it seems to be able to not only defend itself and hunt for food on its own, but also run around and attempt to fly. It is incredibly independent, and pays no mind to you.
Teen Information
This tiny, nearly featherless hatchling looks like it should be helpless, but it seems to be able to not only defend itself and hunt for food on its own, but also run around and attempt to fly. It is incredibly independent, and pays no mind to you. It has grown some now, and gained the ability to fly. You rarely see it, and when you do, it seems to ignore that you are even there, instead preferring to preen itself.
Adult Information
Your hatchling has grown now, and not much in its attitude has changed, but it has gotten infinitely more beautiful than looking like a chicken on fire. It is quite large, and when in flight, the long feathers that trail down its tail are a sight to behold, as in the wind, they catch fire. It thankfully, does seem to recognize you as its owner, and is willing to aide you very rarely, but otherwise keeps to its own, preferring preening itself and hunting bugs.
