It seems your pumpkin has attracted a friend! It looks to be a pumpkin fiend, one of the few creatures of the veil known to predate on enchanted and normal pumpkins. They're especially a nuisance around the Thirteenth Year, when children are often woken up to the sight of their precious work half eaten and smashed on the doorstep after Hallow's Eve has passed.
