General Information
Dawn and Dusk tells are an uncommon sight in the wild; although within the castle walls, they are a common and welcome sight. This is due to their highly selective choices in habitat; Tells are found only within the crystal clear brooks of the Highmount, and no one is entirely sure. In captivity, Tells are able to freely live within any water source given to them, and many mages use the common lake water to satisfy their needs. Some mages theorize that this may be due to Tells needing a source of magic to pull opun in order to reproduce, with the Highmount being the only location in the Veil that has both water and free flowing magic; and yet others believe it may be due to the constant stream of light raining from above. Whatever the case, it means their eggs are highly prized, and obtaining one from the wild is a special treat.

This egg is a contrast between light and dark.
Baby Information

This small hatchling is entirely confined to water. It is also split down the middle into two very contrasting colors.
Teen Information

Your hatchling has transformed completely, and it seems to have chosen to be the darker color. It is much more active during dusk hours, and you can occasionally see it craw onto the floating platform you have provided it at night to hunt.
Adult Information

Your hatchling has grown substantially from its original size, and nis a formidable foe- at least, to the vegetables you drop into its cage it is. It doesn't do much during the day, but once the sun sets it is incredibly active- you can often hear it splashing and interacting with the various objects you've given it. Other than that, though, it seems to lack much magical prowess. You have noticed that in its presence, dusk seems to drag on for twice the time as usual, but you aren't sure if it is due to the creature's magic or from you noticing the sunset due to it constantly trying to escape to chase it.
