Lightwings are close relatives to glowwings and glowwyrms, and are often seen at night lighting up the sky with brilliantly with their baubles, just before the heralding of a thunderstorm. Unlike their more tame counterparts, lightwings are incredibly powerful electricity users and it is a common myth that smashing the beautiful baubles on the tail of these dragons would release an untamable thunderstorm.
