SCP-049 Discussion for fun..

Ok..I don't know if anyone watches the SCP animations on YouTube but one character I find intriguing is SCP-049 a.k.a The Plague Doctor.

Now, the plague doctor keeps talking about the 'Pestilence'..you can get a better idea by watching SCP: Sedition-SCP-049. I keep trying to figure out just what this pestilence is and the best I can figure out is that it is..fear.

Near the end when the plague doctor is about to end the life of the interviewer he stops and says that the pestilence had suddenly left which tells me that it is fear and/or rage the doctor thinks needs to be cured..

What do you think?

I agree that the pestilence could have to do with emotions such as rage. One reason is a video animation on YouTube where SCP-049 tries to cure SCP-096. After SCP-049 had removed SCP-096's brain SCP-096 was more calm and didn't seem enraged by anyone looking at his face. SCP-049 seemed to think that SCP-096 had been cured because of that. :0
