I realize no one is gonna read this but I will still complain..
Seriously I really am beginning to hate these tasks; I was doing the Shrine of the Forest tasks where I am supposed to click 131 dragons so I did the Egg Hub then played/clicked other peoples dragons and it totaled 131 but the Shrine task only registered the 170 from the hub and a smattering of the total clicks I gave to others.

So basically playing with creatures -which you have to click anyways- doesn't count; only going to a profile and clicking individually (CTRL + Click to open many tabs then close them after 50 or so helps). Ugh!....
