Why Do I Have -1 Slots?

My most recent batch of eggs hatched, but I can't pick up any more eggs. It says I have -1 Slots Open. Is that a glitch, or does it mean something?

When your clan has dominance, you get a temporary extra egg slot that goes away at the end of the week. I'm guessing that life had dominance last week.
