I love the baenalkin update. (Also looking forward to the Halloween event and to the two new creatures that have sneaked into the Encyclopedia.)

The event shop button is up in the stalls tab! It leads to a 500 error right now, but the npc looks super cool. Can't wait to see what they've got!

Apparently luck plays a huge part in the trick or treating. I wonder if there's a high chance of getting an item rather than getting a halloween treat.
If you need clicks for a quest, I have a growing number of creatures here. You can also play with my creatures' companions as well. That is, if they're not on cooldown.

A fair number of the "trick" items I've gotten have been basic parchments, which is nice for inkwell dragon alchemy, but I only know that because I've been tricked quite a bit lol

Seems there's also a chance that you'll get nothing too.

I've been getting most of my candy by battling (I'm doing a lot of this on mobile with a temperamental stylus and don't want to accidentally block someone), but the chance of getting a companion might be worth the risk.

New additions to the demon-spotter's guide I've been working on: Bat, Candee, Hat, Kitty, Jester, Pumpkin. I'm guessing there's a least a couple more out there that are just being shy.

Edit: Also, I'm glad I got a deity request out of my last egg-hunting session, but it's going to take a while to place in fifteen contests. I'm hoping contests get more active as people spend more time leveling up their creatures while hunting Halloween demons.

Edit 2: Trick-or-treating at Ezriaphiel's gave me a gold catat. Yay!
